Oh how I adore this little guy! I have been lucky enough to photograph him since he was a newborn and he has been over the top cute since day one :) The thing about S. is that he has the wonderful smile and his parents LOVE him. The things they do to make him laugh are so funny. I can’t wait to work with him again! Thank you F. Family for letting me capture your little guy!

So the thing is, is that I am a very private person. As a kid I was very shy and to be honest not much has changed as I have gotten older. I tell people I have stranger danger :/ In all seriousness before I meet new clients I panic about it. I think a lot of it has to do with being a stay at home mom for almost five years, and not getting enough adult time. Once I get to know a person I come out of my shell and you would have never guessed I was so shy! I am so glad that none of my kids seem to be shy and they are all so outgoing :)

I LOVE music, art, tattoos, reading, movies & San Francisco.

A few things about me and photography…..

My favorite thing to photograph are newborns! I love the challenge of getting the perfect pose with the fingers laid just right and a relaxed expression on a babies face. With my whole heart I want to soak up all the wonderful things of wedding photography and would like to pursue that avenue full time.

My favorite time of day to photograph people would be first thing in the morning. I love morning light, it is crisp, clean and pure. Not many people like to get out that early for a session so I do most of my sessions in the late afternoon and evening.

I don’t use actions during my processing. I have created a few of my own and they are what I go to when I am working on sessions. I prefer to keep my images true to the moments, but I do enjoy using textures sparingly in a gallery.

I shoot Nikon and use the d700 with a 50mm 1.4g as my go to lens. At this time I am talking myself into buying the 24-70 and 70-200, eek! I would also like to get the 85mm and a fisheye would be fun :)

Keep the questions coming, this is fun!
