I thought today I would get a little personal!  June has been pretty lazy around the Smith house.  We have been sleeping in, playing hard, visiting the zoo, EFRC, parks, pool, eating PB&J and soaking up all the sun.  I have LOVED every moment of it!  What have you done to make your summer special?
Smores, ummmmm goooooood.  This is the first time we have made smores and they were so good!
This is the EFRC and it is near and dear to my heart.  If you and your family have an opportunity to visit please do.  These are exotic cats that have been rescued from all over the US.  Exotic cats do not make good pets and shouldn’t be raised that way.  The EFRC does not breed cats after they are rescued and you will leave more educated and open to the true impact of breeding these beautiful animals.
This tiger wanted to eat my daughter.
The pumas just loved to have the handlers pet their ears.
This cougar charged the fence attempting to get my daughter.  When he realized he couldn’t get her, he moved up here and stared her down.   It was a little scary!
White tigers are created by incest and breeders do this on purpose.  For every one “healthy” white tiger, 2-3 white tigers are killed because of deformities.

I was so excited to have a 3 month session with O.!  I haven’t seen him since his newborn session and he has grown and changed so much!  I love to do 3 month sessions, because even though babies still aren’t sitting up they are awake, giving big smiles and ready to interact!  O. made us all work for his smiles, but once he gave the first smile there was a flood of smiles to follow!

I can’t believe that C. is 7 months old!  C. has an extra special place and my heart because I started working with his mom when she was 16 weeks pregnant with him and continued once a month until he was born.  I have continued to photograph him since he was a newborn and I feel sooo blessed to have this amazing opportunity!  Just for the record C.’s eyes are this amazing, blue and sparkly!  I LOVE my job!
