I am a mother to three amazing children. They can often be loud, talkative, energetic, carefree souls. I am frequently told “oh my, you have your hands full!” and my response is always “better full than empty!”. I never thought I would be a mother, it wasn’t something I wanted for myself when I was younger. Now, I can’t imagine how empty and quiet my life would be. I am blessed beyond measure to be a mother!
A mother will always protect you, guide you, forgive you & love you.
“All that I am or ever hope to be, I owe to my angel Mother.”
- Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865)
It takes some one really brave to be a mother, someone strong to raise a child and someone special to love someone more than herself.
Mothers hold their children’s hands for a short while, but their hearts forever.
The art of mothering is to teach the art of living to children. -Elaine Heffner
Sometimes the laughter in mothering is the recognition in the ironies and absurdities. Sometimes, though, it’s just pure unthinking delight.” -Barbara Schapiro
More than in any other human relationship, overwhelmingly more, motherhood means being instantly interruptible, responsive, and responsible.” -Tillie Olsen
“The mother loves her child most divinely, not when she surrounds him with comfort and anticipates his wants, but when she resolutely holds him to the highest standards and is content with nothing less than his best.” -Hamilton Wright Mable
“The mother’s heart is the child’s schoolroom.” -Henry Ward Beecher

Shhhh. Can you keep a secret? I’m sharing these few pictures with you and I’m not going to tell my brother that I did
My brother stopped by my studio for some quick pictures for his business cards and while he was there I made him pose for a few extra for our mom.
I would just like to say that I am very proud of my “little” brother. He spent most of the past decade serving in the United States Army and he is now living back in Indiana for the first time since he was 17. He is my hero and I am so proud of he man he has become. My kids are so blessed to have an Uncle like him and my entire family is blessed to have such a great son, brother, grandson! I should also add that he is very lucky to have such a funny and generous big sister

This session was a bit different from what I normally do. I decided to keep the session very neutral and stay with softer colors and tones. I am so glad that I did, because Miss. J. had the perfect personality to complete the session. I adore the images from her session and they are some of my favorite milestone pictures to date! That you so much to her mom for bringing Miss J. in for her session!
